This Easter we decided to do a family-friendly Easter Stations activity. Each station had a scripture to read, questions to discuss and an activity to do together
Station 2 - Mary Anoints Jesus Participants were invited to smell the perfumed lotion and write valuable things they were willing to give to Jesus, to submerge in the water. Station 4 - The Passover Meal Here communion was offered, with the chance to reflect on Jesus as the Passover Lamb Station 6 - Jesus Crucified Participants were invited to take a kit to make a small cross (made out of popscile sticks and twist ties), and to reflect on the last hours of Jesus' life. | Station 1 - The Triumphal Entry Participants were invited to make playdough figures of themselves to add to the crowd welcoming Jesus into Jerusalem Station 3 - A New Commandment What does love look like? Participants were invited write their ideas on red paper hearts and add them to the board Station 5 - In The Garden This station focused on Jesus' prayer in the garden through to Peter's threefold denial of Jesus. Participants were invited to illustrate a part of the story to add to the blackboard. |
